Granada Excursion
Discover one of Spain’s greatest splendours, often referred to as « the eight wonder of the world »: The Alhambra palace is set in a stunning location overlooking the city of Granada and nesting at the foot of Sierra Nevada Mountains. Arguably the finest example of Arab architecture in the whole of Spain, the palace and its gardens were built as a re-creation of “heaven on earth”, with cool patios, fountains and intricate carvings still as clear as when it was first built.
Seville Excursion
We will visit the Cathedral, the third largest in the world, with the tower called La Giralda, and the Alcazar, a true witness of the cultural cross of Seville. A walk through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter Sta. Cruz shows you hidden squares and courtyards cooled by fountains and orange trees.
Cordoba Excursion
The historical city of Cordoba is famous for its colourful patios and Moorish influences. You will find the whole city full of Arab, Jewish and other ancient reminders, such as the Jewish Quarter, the synagogue, the Roman bridge, and of course, the fascination Mosque. Walk through a maze of magnificent arches and pillars to discover the stunning Catholic Cathedral built at its centre – a truly unique religious building.
Morocco Excursion
Once in Morocco (either Tetouan or Tangiers) we walk into the “Medina”, the old part of town, where we visit the Zoco (Market). We will stop by a Pharmacy where there will be a demonstration of their natural products and cosmetics. Then we will proceed to a typical restaurant where we will enjoy Moroccan music during lunch. After lunch we will stop in one store where owners will show their beautiful and famous Carpets and the visitor will be able to buy any of the typical Moroccan manufacture.
Gibraltar Excursion
Located at the southernmost tip of Europe, the Rock of Gibraltar - the so-called “Gateway to the Mediterranean” - is a majestic witness to the historic tides and turns of Spain and the rest of the continent. We will visit the Rock “el Peñón” using local minibuses, including entrance to the caves of San Miguel and the reserve of monkeys. After the visit, free time for shopping in the town centre.
Ronda Excursion
Ronda is a unique town, dramatically divided in two by a breathtaking gorge plunging down hundreds of metres. From the 18th century bridge you can take some excellent photos. We will visit the bullring, the oldest in Spain and the Church Sta Maria la Mayo.
