1. Dalt Vila Visit
The walled city of Dalt Vila, should be one of the points required for all visitors to Ibiza for its impressive walls and the beauty and tranquility that gives a stroll through the ancient cobbled streets. But you can do much more things than just walking the streets of Old Ibiza, and visit the Cathedral of Ibiza, closer to the viewpoint of the cathedral, have a snack or lunch in any of the terraces. However, the slopes of the hills makes it a difficult road to travel during the day in the warmer months, so some choose to visit at night, with a totally different atmosphere.
Exploring Dalt Vila is advisable not only to get to know a little about the history of Ibiza, but to enjoy a unique ride. The views change completely depending on day and night, so we recommend visiting at different times of the day. For beach lovers, visiting Dalt Vila is one of the things you can do on rainy or cloudy days.
2. The island of Es Vedra
Surely the island of Es Vedra is one of the most famous images of Ibiza. Almost 400 meters high it rises almost vertically from the sea, the magic of Es Vedra captivates everybody who sees it. And it’s not only an area for tourists: many locals need to see the island from time to time to feel protected by the energy emanating from this point.
Worth a visit not only for Es Vedra: the area is of incomparable beauty with a natural environment of great pine forests. In addition, there are more things to do in the area, such as visiting the small town of Es Cubells or bathing on the beach of Cala d'Hort.
3. Swim at the beach
Of course you've already thought of this when setting foot on the island. The beaches of Ibiza are one of the bests in the Mediterranean Sea and some of them are listed as one of the best beaches in the world.
In addition, the variety of beaches on the island, invite to do much more than swimming and sunbathing: scuba diving, jumping into the water from small cliffs, jet skiing or having lunch or dinner at a restaurant on the beach.
The Benirràs beach alone is worth a visit, but to experience the festival of the drums is one of the original things that can still be seen in Ibiza's legacy left to us by the hippies on the island.
Though it began spontaneously by a group of hippies who found this place a magical point thanks to the light projected from the sea, now it is a special event and Benirràs has become a must-see for anyone. By the way, if you want to feel more like a hippie, you can also participate by playing a drum.

In Ibiza the summer combines many cultures, a lot of people from different places with different lifestyles: clubbers eager to party, artists and craft vendors and famous international stars.

And not only the ball pages (or folk dances) are of great importance to the cultural, but everything that surrounds them: the unique musical instruments, songs and traditional costumes of great complexity.
7. Formentera Visit
You probably already have thought of it, but make a trip to Formentera, it is one of the great things you can do if you're going to Ibiza.

On the west coast of Ibiza you have the best magical view of the sunset as the sun melts into the sea, in a natural spectacle that transforms the sky and the sea in beautiful colors. You can see the sunset from a mythical place like Café del Mar, from beaches as Benirràs, living the hippie atmosphere, or find yourself a secret place to see it in solitude.
9. Mud bath
One of the most attractive things and less known, you can do on some beaches in Ibiza and Formentera, is to take a natural mud bath! There is very little information about it but it’s worth a try. A completely free activity which is fun and beneficial for your skin.

During your holiday season the towns and villages come alive with the fiestas, the city of Ibiza is adorned in August to celebrate its patron saint. The homage to Saint Mary on the 5th and the commemoration of the conquest of the city on the 8th of August 1235 are the two key dates of these festivities that combine culture, sport and leisure activities. In the busiest month of the year, residents and tourists join together for the so-called “Festes de la Terra” (festivities of the land), attending concerts, displays and exhibitions of Ibiza folklore.
